1 Your spectra, any computer
Move your processed spectra to a cloud folder — Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud, it doesn't matter. Wherever you open a computer that has iNMR Lite installed, you can inspect any spectrum in full detail. No license needed on those machines. Your license stays on the machine where you do the heavy processing; Lite handles the rest.
2 Three computers, one license
Office desktop, laboratory workstation, laptop at home. Buy one license for the machine where you do most of your work. Install iNMR Lite on the other two. You can inspect, review, and compare spectra on all three. The one license covers everything you actually need to process.
3 The whole department for the price of one
Install iNMR Lite on every computer in the group — freely, without paperwork. Designate one machine as the processing station and put the license there. Once spectra are processed, anyone in the department can open and inspect them on their own computer with Lite. One license. Every desk covered.
4 Send a spectrum, not a screenshot
A collaborator at another institution needs to see your data — not a flat image, but the actual spectrum, zoomable, with real peak positions. Tell them to install iNMR Lite, send the file, and they're done. No account, no licence fee on their end. Chances are they'll want the full version for their own work before long.
5 Teaching without a budget
Students don't need to process spectra — they need to read them, question them, understand them. iNMR Lite is enough for that. Install it in the teaching lab at no cost. Students who grow up using it are the researchers who will ask for it when they move on. You've done yourself a favour five years from now.
6 Industry, outside the office
You work in a company. Your laptop is personal — IT won't install licensed software on it. But you need to glance at a spectrum over the weekend before Monday's meeting. iNMR Lite asks nothing of your IT department and costs nothing. You install it in two minutes and open the file you dropped in your cloud folder from the office.
Why we're asking you to spread this
iNMR competes against software with institutional backing, site licenses, and marketing departments. We have none of that. What we do have is a product that people who use it tend to prefer — and users like you.
Every colleague who installs iNMR Lite and sees what it can do is someone who might buy a license, recommend it to their group, or ask for it in a new position. That's how iNMR grows on Mac. Not through advertising, but through the people who already trust it.
